Iron Creek June 21, 2006

Jean and I hiked up the Iron Creek/Bear Creek trail today. Wow, the flowers were beautiful! Lots of bitterroot and penstemmon in bloom. We hiked up to the usual lunch spot on the Teanaway ridge trail and ate. Hiking back we got to chatting and didn't notice we passed the junction to Iron creek. We didn't notice we had passed it until we were about a mile and half down the Bear Creek trail. So, we had to turn around and head back to the junction. Oh, well. That will teach me to talk less and pay more attention. :-)
