Engaging LA Fabric Collage

The Engaging LA fabric collage is the second of four projects planned for a future show with the Winding Rivulets, a Leavenworth artisan organization who's mission is to motivate, stimulate, inspire and promote artistic creativity and cooperative marketing through a structured support group.

This second project entitled Engaging Self-expression interlaces self-expression throughout the 3D fabric collage of LA Wilder showcasing the rock wall she designed and built. LA Wilder uses brilliant red and pink brocade, silk and satin appliques embellished with ribbons, yarns and beads to represent the rock wall and glass collection. Three dimensional plates, containers, paperweights and display case give an added depth to the collage. She uses her own hand-woven fabric to dress her self portrait. Size: 32" x 36". Price $500.
